One of Fraser’s South Korean distributors, IONCRAFT has recently supplied a company with Model 3014 and 3024L Bars that reduced static levels dramatically from 30 – 50 kV down to 5 – 0.8 kV!
THE PROBLEM
Company S-OIL were facing serious static electricity problems in the winding section of their extrusion process. Accumulated static charges disturbed the working environment for researchers, caused quality issues in the products, and created risks of higher defect rates during subsequent processing at customer sites. S-OIL is a South Korean petroleum company that refines crude oil, and produces petrochemicals and lubricants.
THE SOLUTION
IONCRAFT conducted some demonstration tests using Fraser 3014 and 3024L 24V DC Ionising Bars. As well as a fantastic reduction in charge S-OIL noticed:
