Static Control for Synthetic Printing Substrates
Owing to the greater use of synthetic substrates, higher speeds and UV inks, label printing and converting is a growing market for static eliminators.
Static Control for Synthetic Printing Substrates - Select a problem:
A web-cleaner after the winder is generally not sufficient to deal with this problem as the substrate becomes charged after each printing station and a target for airborne dust. Installing a short range 3014 or 1250-S Static Eliminator after the web-cleaner and before the first printing head is an efficient solution.
A further static eliminator can be installed after each UV drier to neutralise static build-up prior to subsequent print stations.
