Cancellation Policy
Order Cancellation
Once an order confirmation has been issued by Fraser Anti-Static Techniques Limited (“Fraser”) it is deemed an ‘accepted order’, and it enters production immediately. Because most accepted orders are manufactured to specification within a 7 working day period, cancellation rights are limited as follows:
- Before manufacturing has started: The customer may cancel an accepted order free of charge by written notice to Fraser, provided manufacturing has not yet commenced, subject to clause 2 below.
- After an order confirmation has been issued, but before manufacturing has started: The order may be cancelled, but an administration charge of £35 (or Euro / USD equivalent) will apply, plus the cost of any components already procured for the order (see clause 3).
- Components already ordered: Some materials or components with longer lead times may be procured by Fraser as soon as an order is accepted, ahead of manufacturing start. If cancellation is requested before manufacturing has started but after such components have been ordered, the customer will be charged for the cost of those components. Fraser will confirm which, if any, components fall into this category on request.
- Once manufacturing has started: The order cannot be cancelled. This applies from the point work begins on the order, regardless of how much of the 7 working day period remains.
- Confirmation: Fraser will confirm in writing whether a cancellation request has been received in time, and, where applicable, the cost of any components already procured. No cancellation is effective until confirmed by Fraser in writing.
By placing an order, the customer accepts that Fraser’s short production cycle means the window to cancel is brief, and that costs already committed, whether for procured components or for manufacturing once started, cannot be recovered.
