Using Electrostatics to Apply Protective Films
Electrostatics can be used to stick a protective film or paper to a sheet.
Using Electrostatics to Apply Protective Films - Select a problem:
The static charge from a 7160 Generator Bar will stick the protective film to a metal sheet. The metal sheet must be grounded through the rollers to act as a counter-electrode to the 7160 Bar powered by the IONFIX Compact Static Generator.
A similar set-up is used as for sticking a protective film to a metal sheet. However, as the sheet is non-conductive, a separate counter-electrode in the form of a 660 Static Discharger is located immediately below the sheet.
