Problematic Static Charges in Digital Document Printing
Digital document printing can dry the substrate, which makes it very static generative. This problem can be seen immediately at the exit of the printer or at subsequent operations, such as creasing and folding.

Problematic Static Charges in Digital Document Printing - Select a problem:
The product is charged as it exits the printer. This can cause problems for post-printing operations, including sheets clinging to each other or the machinery, jams, untidy stacking, attraction of contaminants and shocks to operators.
A short range 3014, 3024F or 1250-S Static Eliminator can be positioned at the exit (outfeed) of the printer to remove this charge.
To neutralise the static generated on the rewind of a static substrate, a 3024L or NEOS long range 24 V DC Intelligent Static Eliminator can be positioned at a convenient distance from the winding reel. Despite the changing geometry, all of these anti-static bars will be able to neutralise the charge effectively.
