Where there is a lay-on roller, the best position for a XIFOS 33 or NEOS Intelligent Static Eliminator is on the side where the film leaves the lay-on roller. If this is not possible, then position the static eliminator on the opposite side of the reel.
Ideally position a long range, DC static eliminator such as XIFOS 33 with intelligence, so that the ionisation neutralises the charge at both rewind positions. If access is limited or movement of the machinery prohibits using just one anti-static bar, then a dedicated static eliminator at each position can be the solution.
