Reduction of Charge Build-Up in Sheeters
In web offset printers and digital printing, sheet cutters transform the printed web into sheets. If plastic material is undergoing the sheeting process, the result is often extremely static generative, leading to material misbehaviour and a range of packaging issues, as well as presenting a real risk of shocks to operators.
Reduction of Charge Build-Up in Sheeters - Select a problem:
The preferred solution in most cases would be to utilise a short range 3014 or 1250-S Static Eliminator bar immediately after the delivery pinch-wheels. If this position is unachievable, then a 3024L or NEOS 12L Static Eliminator will provide excellent medium range neutralisation at distances up to 600 mm.
