Ideal for occasional static problems

Fraser 101 and 201 Static Dischargers are extremely efficient anti-static tools, particularly effective for high speeds and high charges.  Cost-effective and versatile, they are used on countless machines processing sheets and webs.

Often called ‘passive’ static eliminators or anti-static brushes, 101 and 201 Static Dischargers are typically positioned 2-3 mm from the material to be neutralised.  The fine conductive tips of the fibre concentrate the electric field to create ionised air which allows the static charge to flow to earth.

Custom-made to the required length, and with a choice of carbon or conductive nylon fibres in four fibre lengths, there are two versions available:

  • 101 with an aluminium ‘h’ body, incorporating an M4x10 earthing stud
  • 201 with an aluminium ‘u’ body and M4x10 fixed mounting studs

For ATEX applications, see EX-HPSD 101 / 201 Static Dischargers for hazardous areas.

The best choice of product depends upon process speed, the distance of the static eliminator from the target and the level of static charge to be neutralised. Please get in touch for further assistance.
