The 4825 – a powerful and highly directional airgun for neutralising static electricity and removing dust and other contaminants.

High performance from an integrated 7 kV power supply that requires only a low voltage 24 V DC input.

  • The 4825 is suitable for the most demanding cleaning and static neutralising work.
  • Shockless, resistively coupled tungsten emitters for unlimited life.
  • Ergonomic full-hand trigger is suitable for all day use unlike designs for one or two fingers. Gives the operator excellent control of the airflow.
  • Ion balance suitable for most industrial applications.
  • Pulsed DC high voltage provides excellent charge decay performance even at longer distances.
  • Integrated high-voltage electronics means no highvoltage cables are required.
  • An integrated bi-colour LED gives immediate status indication to the operator.
  • Protected against under-voltage, overload and reverse polarity
  • The air consumption is minimised by the air nozzle which amplifies the compressed air by 20:1.
  • Robust construction and modular design mean the 4825 can easily be maintained or repaired.

The best choice of product depends upon process speed, the distance of the static eliminator from the target and the level of static charge to be neutralised. Please get in touch for further assistance.

Construction

Ioniser: PVC body, epoxy resin encapsulant, long-life tungsten emitters.
Airgun: Plastic handle and trigger, aluminium nozzle.

Operation

Maximum air pressure 10 Bar. Typical working pressure is 5 Bar. Air consumption at 5 Bar is 560 L/min for continuous operation.

Power Supply

The 4825 Gun requires a 24V Cable, or a Fraser 100 – 250 V AC, 24 V DC Power Supply and 24V extension cable. These must be ordered separately in addition to the gun.

High Voltage

+/- 7 kV supply integrated inside the ioniser.

Safety

The ionisation system is shockless and nozzle meets OSHA and other safety standards.

Protection Classification

IP67.

Environment

0 to 55° C, 70 % RH non-condensing.

Noise

At 5 Bar the noise level is 74 dBA, measured at 1 m.

Thrust

At 5 Bar the thrust at a distance of 100 mm is a market leading 5.2 N (airspeed x volume which represents cleaning power).

Air Connections and Pipe

¼ BSP threaded connection. Supply pipe should be at least 6 mm internal diameter for full performance. If the pipe is long, then a larger bore may be needed to prevent pressure drop. Air fitting supplied (unless otherwise ordered) is for 8 mm OD push-in pipe.
