The EXHP is a power unit designed to serve Fraser ATEX certified EX-1250 Static Eliminators for use in hazardous areas.

For use with ATEX certified EX-1250 Bars

Widely used by coaters, laminators and gravure and flexo printers worldwide

Four connections, large load

Serving up to 4 bars, with combined bar and cable length of up to 30 m

High specification

Feedback options for monitoring and control, HP connectors

The EXHP is part of Fraser’s comprehensive family of advanced power units which provide the high voltage required to produce ionisation in our range of AC static eliminators.

The EXHP is designed to serve up to four Fraser ATEX certified EX-1250 Static Eliminators which are used in coating, gravure, printing, laminating and similar hazardous areas.

  • Conforming to the highest market standards, the EXHP provides 6 kV of ionising power
  • The flat-wave high voltage output combines high performance with low electrical stress for long term reliability
  • Low running costs (typically 30 W)
  • Exceeds international safety requirements with fully encapsulated windings, current-limited design and automatic shut-down if there is a short on the static eliminator

For ease of connectivity and control, the EXHP has a local on/off switch and can be powered directly by machine electrics.  A Fraser HP Connector allows for swift connection or disconnection. 3 m of hardwired mains cable is included.

Made easy by its large combined load capacity of 30 m, the EXHP Power Unit must be positioned outside of the hazardous area.

Options

  • Remote monitoring of operational condition/alarm
  • An LED can be fitted to show that high voltage is functioning

The best choice of product depends upon process speed, the distance of the static eliminator from the target and the level of static charge to be neutralised. Please get in touch for further assistance.

Construction

Powder coated steel case. Transformer with fully encapsulated windings.

Dimensions (Body)

138 x 85 x 198 mm (W x H x L). 180 mm W including mounting bracket.

Electrical Output

6 kV with maximum peak voltage of 7.76 kV. Secondary current limited to 5 mA.
